Those old Hemis do have some value to the Hot Rod guys. Most were 331 ci motors and there are some differences between them and the car motors. They were designed to run at a set rpm and had lower compression and a very mild cam profile. I went in with a buddy of mine years ago and we bought 4 old FMC grove sprayers all with hemis running on propane. We sold three of the motors to a guy in Tampa kept one and scraped the rest of what was left of the sprayers and made good money. We tore the fourth motor down just to see what it looked like and it looked like new on the inside. Put it back together with new rings and ran it off and on for a few years sitting on a stand. Ended up selling it to a local guy to put in a boat he was restoring from the fifties. I would sell the pump and keep the motor. And then see what I could get for it.
