My 935 JD MoCo really doesn�t owe me anything. Howerever, the $14,000 Deere wants to fix it might make it forever indebted to me! I�m not sure of the chain of events but the common oil sump is full of gear teeth (mind you this is all over the phone information). They are saying that the bearing went on the first turtle, took out the gear, and others followed. I�m finding it hard to believe as the turtle U joints they put in that have less than 100 acres on them as well as the gearbox mount welding they did 100 acres ago let loose. The welds broke on the welds and not beside the welds, which kind of leads me to believe they were weak, broke, dropped the U joint out of alignment and took out the bearing. All in quick succession starting one of the hay fields on fire. It was a rockstar week last week.
Where can I get aftermarket MoCo parts? The way it was described over the phone it needs botttom bearings and the bottom gear for each unit. I guess they aren�t all bad, but while I�m in there cleaning up the sump...
