The gas is compressed/liquified and loaded on ships, most of the infrastructure was built off the
US coast to receive gas from Quatar before the shale gas/fracking boom came about, now the US has
over 1000 years of proven gas reserves. The LNG trade has revitalized SouthWest Louisiana and
Southeast Texas with plenty of good paying jobs which have long term prospects. Google Cameron LNG
or Sabine Pass LNG.
