In 1986 I bought my first brand new truck. It was a Ford ranger extended cab 4x4. About a half mile from home I was stopped to make a left hand turn off the highway and a passenger van pulling a travel trailer pulled out in front of a semi and he cut his wheel and took me and my new truck out. Twenty four miles on the on the odometer. The truck driver had just the month before received an award for twenty five years of perfect driving. And the guy that caused it kept on going!
