Read the books in early 70's when I graduated from college and was looking for my 1st job. Had LOTS of free time then. Wife and kids were/are crazy about the movies (along with Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, etc). I think I've seen all of the LOR movies but in bits/pieces while they were watching them.
