Search for messicks farm equipment, when the official site comes up hit case parts, then put 400 in the model number search box, keep scrolling down until you get to farmall 400 diesel tractor, click on engine, then click on auxiliary and final fuel filters. You will then see both type filter bases and parts. at bottom of parts list you will find the conversion package listed. Last year I was told FP Smith equipment in CA. had the conversion packages. Can't say for sure they were NLA. If you know of parts tractors in your area the filter base and parts off a 400 above the serial number on the filter site or a 450 tractor will work with no need for adapter package to use the same filter in both.
