Last time I was in there I fixed the screen on the pump - it had come off and blocked oil flow and lowered the pressure. I think everything is going to have to get a thorough flush to avoid collateral damage with that gear shrapnel. My uncle had the engine rebuilt in the late 60�s when he got it from grandpa - it still doesn�t use any oil and looks like new inside. I�m going to avoid a rebuild and just do the cam gear and clean her up. I�ve only been without two days and I already feel like I lost my best friend!
