Last time I was in there I fixed the screen on the pump - it had come off and blocked oil flow and lowered the pressure. I think everything is going to have to get a thorough flush to avoid collateral damage with that gear shrapnel. My uncle had the engine rebuilt in the late 60’s when he got it from grandpa - it still doesn’t use any oil and looks like new inside. I’m going to avoid a rebuild and just do the cam gear and clean her up. I’ve only been without two days and I already feel like I lost my best friend!
