We traded my gorgeous burgundy 1976 Monte Carlo for a two tone gray 1978 Olds Delta 88. I believe it was the only lemon Oldsmobile built that year. We had three steering columns put in under warranty and a couple of starters the first two years. The General Manager of the dealership got so aggravated with the Service Manager over the repair delays that he gave us the service manager's demo to drive on vacation until he could convince the regional manager to send parts. I caught up with the regional service manager a couple weeks later and he asked me if we had the car serviced regularly...I think he was in the wrong line of work.
