That is a good idea. We have a 3d printer at work but they are getting cheap enough I was thinking of getting one for the house. I have made some bushings just to try it and they have held up so far. The real cool thing about the 3d printing is parts the would take many steps to machine and set up tooling for print out just as easy as a bushing or other simple parts.
