I bought a TO35 recently and it was running well. I picked up a used bush hog and 20 min later the tractor sputtered and died. Wouldn't start until cold, then died every few minutes. Eventually Wouldn't start at all. Changed plugs, wires, condenser, coil, no fix. Then i changed out the sediment bowl. Kept stating and dying likw it was running out of gas. I rebuilt the carb, the kit didn't have a float so i used the old one. No fix. Gas was coming out at the carb inlet, but not the drain plug. HERE WAS THE FIX: i reset the float that I thought must have been sticking. Started right up and has been running ever since. I hadnt seen that fix anywhwre so i thought id share.
