I too had a Fine gentleman friend, Vern, loan me a tractor for the WHO radio 3 day tractor ride. We did a 5hour ride a couple weeks before to make sure all was working right. His ride was a Farmall MD, the tractor he loaned me a Farmall M. He had all the letter series in his collection. The M seemed to be running a little on the hot side. I flushed the radiator changed the thermostate prior to the 3 day ride. Vern worried something fierce about that tractor letting us down. It did not, but Vern just wanted me to have a trouble free enjoyable ride that he worried. Much like you are doing. That was 13 or 14 years ago. Vern gave up the tractor rides a few years ago at 80+. He always wants an update each year after the ride. gobble
