I wish you were close, as mine is no longer used, taking up barn space & the time to start it every year or two (guilt of neglect I guess?). I really needs a good home, as it runs so well.
All signs are that it was 6v, pos gnd, as the gentleman who owned it before me, converted it to 12v & put Air conditioning on it, and when charging, the ammeter shows discharge and when not charging shows charging. Also, the coil is original (same as my Farmall SMTA) and measures 1.35 Ohms, which is correct for a 6v coil. Me combining oats several years ago:
