That sounds pretty similar to our JD 4600, engine anyhow, and I have always done all my own service work, that's all it's needed in 1065 hours. I used JD 5-30 oil for the first few years, then I switched to Delvac 15-40. I have changed the hydraulic oil twice and the coolant once, need to do that again soon. I think if you follow the owners manual, use supplies purchased at the dealer when it's under warranty, and document everything you do it's fine. We have very seldom had to use the warranty on anything.
