Re passing on a hill on solid line, yesterday I went to visit my brother on the farm and on the way on a heavily traveled county road that the speed limit was 50 MPH, I caught up to a JD Sprayer on a hill that was taking up the full width of the west bound lane of the road. I was content to stay behind the sprayer until the other side of the hill but a fancy PU came racing up behind me and just pulled out and passed both myself and the sprayer before the crest of the hill. After the sprayer and myself crested the hill there was a car in the east bound lane. If this east bound car had arrived about 30 seconds earlier there would have been a major crash with the PU.
Unfortunately city folks have no idea to drive on country roads and safely pass farm equipment.
