I was working at the MI DNR when the Traverse City State Hospital closed in the mid 90's. Because we were both state agencies, we were able to aquire some of their equipment. I was able to transfer 5 different tractors from their State Agency to ours. One was a John Deere A with a narrow front and had a mounted V plow on the front for plowing snow off sidewalks. That one we really didn't have a use for, and it was sold at a DNR auction in Gaylord. Another retired employee bought it at the auction. No idea if it had a tag like that, or if he still has it.
