Shiawassee county MI never have had a tedder, and never used one. I have had times when I might have used one. I have had to rake hay one extra time to get the ground dry enough to get the hay dry on the bottom next to the ground. Not sure a tedder would solve that problem since it would just cover the ground completely. This year it is drying down pretty good. Since it is late and old it drys down faster. Not my choice just been rain in the 1-2 tenth level so not going to cut then turns dry for 3 days then supposed to rain again. Most of the time it has been no rain so we are getting dry around here. Last decent rain was 2-3 weeks ago got 6 tenths.
