It's hard to believe a big difference. I never compared weight. My bins are an assortment of brands, but basically the same thing, except for the most recent one. The older bins are what I think they called a 2.33" corrugation? 32" tall sheets, 3 sheets high is 8'. Bin diameter divided by 3 equals number of sheets per ring.
The most recent bin is a flatter corrugation, I think 4" ? Totally different size sheets. But the bin is externally stiffened.
So, are these bins you're comparing the same type, like apples to apples, or not?
