One year it was so hot and dry we had to quit fishing because the Catfish had too many ticks on them. Back in the 60's we had a very dry year and dad found an extra hay field for hay.It hadn't been cut the year before and it was August some grass mostly Sumac bushes,dried up Cheat and whatever.Think it went over 100 degrees every day that week,square bales and after we loaded them had to throw them up in a loft worst week I ever spent making hay.The place did have a big creek after every load we'd dive in the creek to cool off.Every time I'm making hay and think its hot I think of that week and baling with the round baler seems pretty good.
