If it's anything like here I expect that the sales guy figures that you will get a price from him then will go buy it at Home Depot. Sales guy here I know at the JD dealership says he's glad he doesn't mess with lawn equipment. Says a lot of folks come, take up the sales man's time, then the next time they see that person is when they bring that Home Depot machine in for service or warranty.
And yea, here that's a 1K or less tractor. Dealers here are pushing guys into buying without trades and they themselves selling the old stuff on CL or via consignment auction. Go check out used tractors on Titan Machinery. 2 old tractors and both are overpriced. Farmall A and Ford 8N. The 8N is in Fargo (Morehead MN actually). They really don't want yer H or CUB.
