: : : : : : Would like input on Belarus tractors : : : and Hurrilman tractors : : Belarus tractors were built in Russia at various plants,viz:-Minsk, medium power tractors, Khakov,Vladimir, 25-30hp started in 1945, in 1924 the Red Putilovets Plant made Russian Fordson-Putilovets, Lipetsk plant made medium powered tractors in 1940-41 and the Volograd plant was est. in 1930. They were imported into Australia about 20 years ago, don't know about the USA.. : I live in Mississippi and I have a lot of negative thing about the belarus. I hear the parts are hard to get and very high. I heared the lifts are bad and wont start when cold. A friend of my said the starter to the one he had was 500 dollarts. Please email me with your experience with them. : My e-mail address is l2p@aol.com Lee, They have been importing Belarus tractors into Australia since the1970's' from the 2cyl 29hp model 250 to the 12cyl 320hp 7010, they were cheaper than other makes and I guess you get what you pay for, the best models were suppose to be the 572 & 920. With the problems in Russia I don't think I would be buying one now. Other than that I know very little about them, I wouldn't know anything about them in your part of the world. Email returned . Bob from Australia, nice talking to you.
