When the fcc gave the numbers to the customer instead of the phone company, And allowed numbers to come from "anywhere", the phone companies have no way of knowing... As they dont actually know, so how can the police it. The government created the problem and is asking the phone companies to help stop it. But,,, guess what,,, but virtue of the ruling, numbers can come from anywhere,,,,,it cant be stopped by the phone companies.... And yes, the nigerians are having a field day.. along with every other crook and shiester.
