A good friend of mine has a 22b bucyrus Erie set up as a dragline. It had worn out undercarriage and wasn't able to move very easily, but could work digging gravel out of a pond all day long. He found another one in the weeds someplace with good undercarriage and a blown motor. One winter he did a massive parts swap and now has a pretty good working dragline. Iirc it's a 1952 model and he says for the diesel used it moves alot of material in a day. It's an old cat engine with a gas pony to start it. The engine in both was painted a bluish color.
