I don't have any parts break downs or service info, but as others said, they are very difficult to repair.
It will go back together many ways, but will only work when it's right.
I would not go into it unless it leaks. Even then if the leak is small, try some Lucas PS stop leak, I've seen it work well.
If you do have to go into it, don't go any deeper than necessary. Not much can be done other then seal replacement. If there is a mechanical problem, it's not likely repairable.
