I think this worked in 2002... Press Ctrl-B to open the backup dialog and save a backup every day, or whenever you make changes to your data. That has saved me more times than I can count. I made a directory just for Quicken backups and mirror that to Google Drive for safety since I know the hard drive will eventually crash. If Ctrl-B is not the right shortcut for version 2002 there will be some other way to fire the backup - and Quicken backup/restore works well. I was also able to move up to Q 2013 for free by being a bit creative with the free installation and versioning.
