I believe it exists every where in the world. Certainly not restricted to the south. I grew up in South Dakota, lived in Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa, California and Florida. Some were only a few months. Now live in South Carolina and yes we have racism here. I have also seen it everywhere I lived. It varies from place to place some against Blacks, some Native Americans, Orientals, Mexican and lets not forget religion. We are all guilty at some level. Its not limited to what ever the dominant ethnic group in the area is. It lives in all ethnic groups. Just an opinion from what I have seen.
