I'm wondering if you would increase the static pressure, and it would dry a tall thin bin a little better. But not really do a whole lot?
I would think bolting the second fan onto the bin and running them in parallel would be the way to increase airflow, at the same pressure, to work with a fat, lower bin? You need to be careful to match the fans to the same size.
Much like taking 2 batteries and tying them together in serial or in parallel, you end up with about the same power output but you have drastically different volts vs amps from the wires. So it depends what you are trying to accomplish.
