Checked the gear box on my TroyBilt tiller and looked a little low. Also noticed some seepage around axle seals. Not terrible but noticable. So what weight of oil should I use 80-90? , 85-140? Also seen it mentioned I need to use synthetic because of bronze gears. Is this accurate? One more thing how close to the top should the oil be. Gear box is non-vented and I know oil needs expansion room.
