I am not familiar with your engine. Limited to a four cylinder one. Popping out of the intake means that an intake valve is out of adjustment.Flywheel marking is your bible. Start the engine cold, and check the exhaust manifold heat on each cylinder, you will find the missing cylinder as it will be much colder then the rest. Use the back of your finger, and momentarily touch each cylinder exhaust port. If you have a temp gauge use that, it may save you from burning your fingers,
