After a few uses my Karacher failed to make pressure and I was told it was the unloader valve, but I could never get it out. Apparently the earlier ones were really famoous for this. I replaced the pump and haven't had any problems since. A place that sells and services pressure washers cautioned me about running it any time when the wand isn't open, they said there is a safety valve(something you have to put on extra) that protects it but only for a very short time.
