(available on this site) having and reading the manuals BEFORE you start tearing apart the tractor can sometimes save you a whole bunch of headaches and money :lol: on the left under forum index you will see a allis chalmers group forum and those guys are pro's on the Allis's, and they will be able to tell you if there's an easy way into the pto or if you have to split the tractor. keep us posted and some pics of your D-17 would be great! we love pics.
