Pick-ups, SUV, crossovers are increasing in sales while sedans are declining in sales. Ford has no truck in the GM mid size colorado class of pickup to compete with GM. Ford will introduce the Ranger in the mid-size pick-up class in a year or so which will have good mileage ratings. The Bronco suv is also coming out in a year or so another mid-size SUV having good mileage ratings which will take some business away from jeep wrangler which are selling well. You sit higher in suv's and people like that. Some of their existing sedan engines will probably be used in the Ranger pick-up. Would look for both Ranger and Bronco to sell well, there is strong demand for SUV's,trucks.
