Well this is more of a continuation of another. It is the twin to the wood hauler that I built last winter. The weather has finally warmed up so I can work outside. I dug out a front end of an Oliver/Electric Wheel wagon, fired up the tourch and cut 14" out of the center eliminating all the bent steering apparatus on the axle tube. I have used up all my rear axle assys. so this was a bit different. I just welded the spindles solid so they can't turn. Apparently a PO couldn't back a wagon up to save his neck. The steering components were totally trashed. Luckly the 14" piece that I removed from the center eliminated the bends in the axle tube. I stripped the mtg. brackets from another Kubota shipping crate, and cut a new piece of 3" channel to make a boxed beam for the tongue/pole, and welded it into the axel assy. Did some trimming on the diagonal struts and welded them to the axle and pole. I now have a rolling chassis for the dump body. Loren
