Coyotes are why I still have about 10-12 horned Herford cows in with my angus cows. Coyotes take cover when those Herford cows came around. About ten years ago one of them hooked a coyote on her horns. She could not get it off. After a couple of days I put her in the chute top pull the dead coyote off her horns. I found out why she could not get the carcass off her horns. She had hit it so hard that she stuck the one horn through the coyote's skull and that was stuck tight.
