My Grandfather was a power equipment dealer. Big Toro machines, Bolens etc. Every time he would see one of these he would get up on a soapbox and say that they were going put him and others like him out of business. Little did we know at the time he was right. Western Auto, Ames, K-Mart sold these things 10 to 1 over Toro, Lawn boy and the like. I remember new machines setting on the floor for years. When he was forced to do warranty work on the bargain equipment he would just chirp.
