We put the fenders on so my dads grand kids would not fall on to the wheels when riding with Grand pa. after my da past way last year I paid off my older brothers and sisters and kept the tractor. My da had bought it in Kansas City, Missouri back in 1999 and had it trucked to bishop Ca. Yes I had the big heavy duty wide front put on it because he lived up in the mountains and it made the tractor more stable to handle. A John Deere G I really had to keep even thou I paid a lot of money for it I still have it.
