Farmington is a bedroom community of Rochester. Pretty much indistinguishable from Canandaigua. If she likes suburban living an excellent choice. Good number of horse operations close by with the track right there. Traffic coming and going from the thruway can be a sumnagun during rush hour. Probably not bad if you are used to commting into a city, but for this hillbilly it is heavy. There is also plenty of more rural living if she wants to move out a bit.
