Part of the problem is. when those guns are purchased, they do not always stay in the hands of a law abiding purchaser. By your logic I guess I could own a bazooka or even an atom bomb. Where is a line drawn? How do you keep those guns from the hands of crackpots and criminals? Obviously no one wants to give up any of their RIGHTS. Defining rights, needs of society, the ability of law enforcement to protect citizens is debateable. But for those in favor of arming teachers, what happens when a number of frightened, panicked indiviuals start pulling and firing guns in a crowded school?
