That's why its a lot of money to be made in direct sales farmer to consumer these days in places like where I live,I'm sure its different in sparsely populated rural areas.My farm is in s suburban area say what you want about these folks but they are willing to shell out big $$$$ at farmers markets and similar places where farmers sell directly to consumers so the many 'middle men' are cut out.Works great for everyone consumers get top quality fresh food and the farmers get good money for their products.
