I have never seen a steam locomotive, but I sure would like too. Very impressive equipment. I did however have the pleasure of riding the coal fired steam ferry The Badger on a crossing of Lake Michigan. The smell of coal smoke, and seeing the ash floating in the air was something new for me. I’d go again in a heartbeat.
