Neighbor about 30- years back had a Cletrak that was a cable lift. He converted it to hydraulic using a power steering pump. Came over to smooth out some ditch on my place. Well, one of the hoses let go and dropped the blade right in with him blocking the road. This was late on a Sunday and the hardware stores were closed. We fashioned a hose out of some push-loc and a few clamps, and I told him to make sure he got a new hose on Monday. Couple months later he comes over and asks if I have more of that Push-loc. Said he'd blown another hose and that air hose held better than the stuff from Tractor Supply.
