John actually both.. My Grandfather use to grow them for the nuts so do think we have long enough growing season but also looking at something that produces a lot of green stuff. Our normal rotation is Corn one year , then sow winter wheat after the corn is harvested, then after the wheat is combined early July plant soybeans for fall harvest. However we are always having small fields get left out for one reason or the other and I am thinking I will try some peanuts.
