The cultivator was cheap but guys around here tend to want IH 183, 153, or 133 cultivators. I've got an 183 6 row and was looking for an IH 4 row to take down to 2 for the garden. Even the roughest nastiest IH brought at least 400 dollars. I think I priced a JD 825 way back in 1987 new at 3,000 dollars. I don't remember if anymore if it was S tine or C shank. The local Case IH dealer (formerly IH) had the 183 as a holdover for just under 2,700 dollars so that is what I bought.
