in 04 the tornado that came through Hallem, Ne missed me by a literal mile. Helped folks then with clean up and decided that for some folks it might have been a blessing as one particular family I helped lived in double wide. picked that sucker up flipped it end for end and unrolled it north to south. THey now have a fully bricked home in place now..
As for me Ive been hailed on in 15 to ruin a 12 year old roof. insurance adjuster gave me 13,000 for new roof. But only gave me 9,000 with depreciation held back till finished.. I did the work myself since I have roofed before and did it for about that cost.. Insurance would not give me the 4,000 difference after done. Said they didnt want me to make any money on the deal. I said HEY I took week off work to do this 13,000 is the value I should get the value whether I did it or had company do it.. never got the 4,000.. Next time Ill have company do it. On another note YEARS ago I had a break in in my car. Called the cops. they kept asking me over and over again if I had anything else of value in car that was taken.. AAll that was taken was radio and radar detect.. Found out insurance wont cover radar detect and found out lator that I could have made bank by
