Wow, had no idea the cable was that expensive. I found one on Amazon for $66 but also $60 shipping so the local at $105 beats it. I've already got the female end. Plus I have some good salvaged heavy house wiring in a fabric coating that could be made to work. Only have to buy the male end then.
