If you look on you tube the guy has a video posted on that tractor and what he has done to the tractor. I believe he rebuilt the engine but it is not original to the tractor. I think he says it came out of a 880 but I could be wrong, I watched it a few weeks ago and do not remember all the specifics about it. Just search Oliver 1800 on you tube. It is a little high in price but like someone else said he's probably trying to get his money back. You can pickup diesel 1800s for that price or less. Hopefully sometime this summer we will be bringing my father in laws 1800 checkerboard home to restore. That's the tractor that started the Oliver crazy in my wife's family and added to mine!!
