Probably about 30 years ago..give or take..my great uncle had an "H" on his auction sale. The next door neighbor was driving it a couple of miles from the farm to the auction site and a state trooper pulled him over on the way into town. This was on a road that was seldom used. The trooper told him that he needed a SMV sign the back of the tractor, as that was the law. Then the trooper admitted to the driver that he pulled him over just because he knew that tractor was an "H", the trooper said he grew up on a farm where they used an "H", and he just had to get a better look at it. The trooper walked around the tractor a couple of times and told the driver that he was free to go.
