I deliver feed to a place that has four of them. First time there the owner introduced me to them. After that they knew I was ok to be there. Had a helper one day that started to wander off. They let him know he had better stay with the truck. Great mild mannered dogs but they will defend their property.
When my wife got sick. I bought her a Pekingese. Small but fast to protect the one's they are loyal to. When my wife died at home. I had to pull the dog off of her. So everyone could do their job. Was kinda funny to see one small dog hold off five grown men. Best dog I ever had.
