Don't get me started on the 'do not call' list. It's a darn joke. I think I'm getting MORE calls since we went on it.
Just last week, one of the calls came from Washington state. They left a message saying that they don't obey the 'do not call'. I looked the number up, and it is a Vancouver, Canada number. I guess that gives them the right to ignore it. I do have a voice mail that said that.
I am on AT&T for cell service. One time is all they can call me, and then it's blocked. Takes one call to block the number.
Another trick they love to pull is to put a '1' before they call me back. Or a '11'. Or call from several different numbers, I had one a hole call me from over 580 numbers, meaning for example 888-888-0001 through 888-888-1001, 1009, etc, etc. Not the real number they called from, just an example. Enough for now. DOUG
