What is there to license or permit? I'm gonna register, license, and insure the trailer to go down the road, but I don't know what else I would need.
I'm not treating seed, so I don't need an applicator's license.
I told my insurer and my tax preparer that I am offering the service and they didn't mention any further requirements they knew of.
I'm not transporting for hire and the trailer is licensed for 12k, so I don't need a CDL or DOT number, though I do have them.

I'm not going to do anything with the air outlet for now. If it becomes an issue, I'm going to make a couple cyclones to dump the dust. I doubt it will be necessary. My last machine blew it out the back. One guy had me lay down a tarp because we were doing it in his yard, but no one else said anything about blowing the chaff on the ground.
