On the other side of the coin years ago a sales lady had an "appointment" with wife (wife agreed to it, I hadn't) and I for a sweeper. As the lady arrived I tried to tell her we don't need another sweeper. The lady was well trained with a spiel and when I tried to interrupt she didn't want to be taken from her spiel. When she finally finished and we said we don't need her sweeper she was obviously sad and per instructions had to call her boss and tell the sad news (the spiel didn't work). I felt sorry for the gal and offered her money to buy her lunch, she wouldn't take it. Time to find a different job, now it's phone calls and computer pop ups.
